KY HEARS is a statewide hearing healthcare initiative designed to increase access to hearing care, especially in rural areas throughout Kentucky. The initiative began through a collaborative effort between Heuser Hearing Institute, Kentucky lawmakers, the executive branch and other stakeholders. The goal of KY HEARS is to remove barriers to care, helping Kentuckians gain equal access to hearing healthcare that can improve student education and reduce employment gaps for those with hearing challenges.
