Butterflies in Motion Luncheon Wins Inaugural Voice-Tribune Bestie Award for Best Daytime Party
(November 21, 2019) Heuser Hearing & Language Academy’s Butterflies in Motion Luncheon has won an inaugural Voice-Tribune Bestie Award for Best Daytime Party. Voted on by Voice-Tribune readers, the awards celebrate over 100 of Louisville’s hometown favorites. The awards were presented on November 21 at 21C Museum Hotel Louisville.
Held at the historic Brown Hotel, the Butterflies in Motion luncheon attracts some of the city’s most gracious and creative hosts and hostesses and challenges them to create a movie-themed table while inviting their guests to participate in the theme through their own wardrobe or accessories. The event is the charity’s signature annual fundraiser and raises over $150,000 to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
CEO of Heuser Hearing & Language Academy Brett Bachmann said “Heuser Hearing & Language Academy is honored that the Voice-Tribune readers recognized Butterflies in Motion for a Bestie Award. This fun event raises much needed support for our students with hearing loss.”
The 2020 Butterflies in Motion Luncheon date will be announced in January. In the meantime, check out our other upcoming events.
