Abby Baker graduated from HHLA in 2014. She is now 13 and a seventh grader at Christian Academy. Since leaving HHLA, Abby has done exceptionally well—she’s a great student, friend and very outgoing.
One of Abby’s favorite pastimes is field hockey. She plays field hockey for her school team and is also a club player for IFHCK.
However, don’t let her petite frame fool you; Abby is as tough as they come and goes through life full speed ahead. Being a middle school girl can be tough, but Abby has always been very mature and confident, which her parents say is due to HHLA helping start her off in the right direction.
Without HHLA, things could be much different for Abby today, but she’s absolutely thriving, and her speech and language are quite impressive. Abby has her head on right and makes good decisions that her parents know will continue to propel her to future success.
