Heuser Hearing contributed to a study on speech pattern recognition in patients with hearing aids or cochlear implants.
The study, published in Frontiers in Audiology and Otology this August, used research from Heuser Hearing’s patient base. Heuser Audiologist Chase Sereno assisted with the study, and Heuser Clinical Director and Audiologist Ingrid Edwards reviewed it.
Research found that the listening on two devices is not always better than using just one, because of binaural interference. Read the complete study here.
