Rebecca Harkey

Rebecca Harkey brings over 30 years of experience in education for individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. After relocating to Kentucky, she followed her passion for helping others by becoming a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist and joining the team at HHI.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Rebecca is known for her empathy and deep understanding of the emotional and relational challenges that can come with hearing loss. She is skilled at helping patients determine their readiness for amplification and guiding them through the adjustment process with compassion.

Rebecca considers lifelong learning one of her greatest professional accomplishments. She offers a unique blend of experience, insight, and care that helps her connect deeply with the people she serves.

Outside the office, Rebecca enjoys camping, fishing, swimming, video and board games, sewing, crafting, and spending quality time with her family. She lives in a multigenerational home with her four adult children, a niece, and two great-nieces—an environment that keeps her young at heart and fully engaged in life.
