Michele Tisdale
Au.D. CCC-A, COHC
Michele Tisdale joined the Heuser team as an extern in May 2024 and officially became the audiologist for the KY HEARS program in June 2025, with a special focus on pediatrics. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Middle Tennessee State University and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Louisville. Michele holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC).
Michele’s passion for audiology began when she accompanied her grandmother to balance disorder appointments at Heuser, where Dr. Edwards introduced her to the field. Inspired by that experience, she chose to study audiology in college and never looked back. Michele is dedicated to bringing hearing healthcare wherever it’s needed and making sure every patient receives the help they deserve.
Outside of work, Michele lives with her lovely wife, McKenzie. She enjoys reading, scrapbooking and spending time with her nephews and niece.
