Audiology
At Heuser Hearing & Language Academy (HHLA), we are privileged to have an in-house educational audiology suite with both the Carla Sue Broecker Loaner Library and an audiology booth. The loaner library provides free access to children who need batteries for their hearing assistive devices, or even a device itself. The audiology booth allows our ongoing collaboration with the audiology team by supporting each other through children’s educational hearing evaluations and screenings. Both support our mission that every child at HHLA receives hearing care and wellness. In addition, we have our hearing clinic next door, which provides access to our in-person audiology team members at all school hours. Visit our Hearing Clinic page to learn more!
Speech and Language Therapy
In addition, any child enrolled in any of our programs may have access to our speech and language services provided by our Heuser speech and language pathologists (SLPs). The SLPs work alongside the educational staff to provide therapy sessions throughout the school day. This allows for flexibility in a family’s schedule, as well as providing carryover between speech sessions and classroom learning. Visit our Speech Clinic to learn more!
