Butterflies in Motion Luncheon Wins Inaugural Voice-Tribune Bestie Award for Best Daytime Party<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

(November 21, 2019) Heuser Hearing & Language Academy\u2019s Butterflies in Motion Luncheon has won an inaugural Voice-Tribune<\/em> Bestie Award for Best Daytime Party<\/a>. Voted on by Voice-Tribune<\/em> readers, the awards celebrate over 100 of Louisville\u2019s hometown favorites. The awards were presented on November 21 at 21C Museum Hotel Louisville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held at the historic Brown Hotel, the Butterflies in Motion luncheon attracts some of the city\u2019s most gracious and creative hosts and hostesses and challenges them to create a movie-themed table while inviting their guests to participate in the theme through their own wardrobe or accessories. The event is the charity\u2019s signature annual fundraiser and raises over $150,000 to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEO of Heuser Hearing & Language Academy Brett Bachmann said \u201cHeuser Hearing & Language Academy is honored that the Voice-Tribune<\/em> readers recognized Butterflies in Motion for a Bestie Award. This fun event raises much needed support for our students with hearing loss.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Heuser Hearing & Language Academy
Since 1948, Heuser Hearing & Language Academy (HHLA), formerly the Louisville Deaf Oral School, has provided early intervention for children who are deaf and hard of hearing. Their goal is to give each child a strong foundation from which to build a promising future. From birth to three, each child receives services through our Parent Infant Program. Once they turn three, they enter the Academy where they also receive intensive speech-language therapy, art therapy, music therapy and dance.
