\u201cButterflies in Motion\u201d Celebrates Your Favorite Movies while Supporting<\/em> (October 14, 2019)- Held October 17th, 2019 at the Brown Hotel, this unique fundraiser attracts some of the city\u2019s most gracious and creative hosts and hostesses and challenges them to create a movie-themed table while inviting their guests to participate in the theme through their own wardrobe or accessories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cButterflies in Motion\u201d is not your typical luncheon as guests are invited to decorate their table based off beloved movies. In the past tables have be decorated with real fire from \u201cJurassic Park\u201d, authentic baseball costumes from \u201cA League of Their Own\u201d, and a real piano for the true \u201cCasablanca\u201d experience. The creativity knows no bounds!<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI could not be prouder of the Academy and the excellent care our teachers and staff provide for these children. We are so thankful for all who attend and donate towards \u201cButterflies in Motion\u201d without this community involvement we could not continue to provide care to families free of charge. Since 1948, Heuser Hearing & Language Academy (HHLA), formerly the Louisville Deaf Oral School, has provided early intervention for children who are deaf and hard of hearing. Their goal is to give each child a strong foundation from which to build a promising future. From birth to three, each child receives services through our Parent Infant Program. Once they turn three, they enter the Academy where they also receive intensive speech-language therapy, art therapy, music therapy and dance. Today the Heuser Hearing & Language Academy, on the campus of the Heuser Hearing Institute is a resource for over 150 students a year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
