WASHINGTON, D.C., (September 4, 2018) \u2013 Shannon Kisselbaugh from Heuser Hearing Institute in Louisville, Kentucky has been included in the inaugural Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) Forty Under 40 list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Forty Under 40 program is designed to recognize the future leaders within the health care philanthropy community. AHP is honoring these 40 young professionals because they are shaping the future of the health care development industry. Collectively, they are changing the world\u2014one campaign at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTelling member stories and sharing best practices are at the core of what AHP is all about,\u201d said Alice Ayres, AHP president & CEO. \u201cI\u2019m so thrilled that through the Forty Under 40 program, members have shared the stories of our up-and-coming leaders\u2014those making significant impact on the industry so early in their careers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shannon Kisselbaugh joined Heuser Hearing Institute as Director of Philanthropy in August 2017. She earned bachelor\u2019s degrees in English and music from Transylvania University in 2003 and an MBA and MA in arts administration from the University of Cincinnati in 2007. Shannon has dedicated her career to serving others in the nonprofit sector and has over 15 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, charitable gift planning, human resources and accounting. She received the Certified Fund Raising Executive credential in 2014. She is a member of the Fundraising Executives of Metro Louisville and the Charitable Gift Planners of Kentuckiana, where she currently serves as a board member and treasurer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shannon Kisselbaugh will be recognized at the 2018 AHP Annual International Conference October 17-20 in San Diego. Recognition events will include an invitation-only breakfast and Forty Under 40 reception on Thursday, October 18, during the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Heuser Hearing Institute<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Heuser Hearing Institute (HHI) is a multi-specialty nonprofit campus promoting the needs of children and adults with disorders of hearing and balance.
