The clinic at Heuser Hearing Institute in Louisville has created a care hotline for anyone with hearing health questions or needs regardless of whether or not they are a Heuser patient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The hotline number is (502) 324-1271<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During this uncertain time, the doctors at Heuser want to continue their work and assist anyone that may need help. Callers include individuals who may have hearing aid damage, experienced sudden hearing loss, or patients with pre-existing conditions who may be worried to leave their homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To help alleviate the spread of Covid-19 and keeping our patients and staff healthy, if you have broken or non-functioning hearing aids, please drop the hearing aids off at one of our offices. After your hearing aids are dropped off, an audiologist or technician will assess the devices, make the necessary repairs, and call you when they are ready for pick-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At this time, patients may not wait in the clinic while repairs are made. In the event your devices will need to be sent to the manufacturer for repair, we will notify you by phone. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. If you have any questions, contact us at (502) 563-1645<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please continue to follow the Centers for Disease Control guidelines on the best ways to combat the spread of coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Heuser Hearing & Language Academy students are currently receiving lessons through online Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) in compliance with guidance from local, state and federal health and education officials. Patients are screened upon arrival and face coverings are required. If you are ill, please call us at (502) 563-1645<\/a> to reschedule your appointment. Appropriate personal protective equipment is on hand and the Centers for Disease Control handwashing, coughing and sneezing etiquette is posted at all locations. Employees are screened daily with temperature checks and health questionnaire and have been tested. Additional ongoing tests are administered as deemed necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We will continue to monitor the situation for updates, resources and information.
