Because she wanted to give back to the community and educate others about hearing healthcare, she pursued a career in the medical field. She completed an expanded duties dental assistant program with Medquest in Frankfort, KY and an externship at Mortenson&#8217;s Dental in Louisville, KY. A certified occupational hearing conservationist, she specializes in adult hearing and hearing aids as a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in both Kentucky and Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samantha understands some of the unique frustrations people with hearing loss face because of her experience as a hard-of-hearing individual. It has always been a dream of hers to help the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
