STEM Lab Teacher
Tracey Wachter is a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) teacher. STEM uses the sciences to encourage students to solve problems inside and outside of the classroom. She received her bachelor’s degree from Bellarmine University. Tracey has been teaching at HHLA for a year and a half. In the past, she has taught classes for Jefferson County High School where she worked with at-risk youth. Tracey has also taught classes for Project Worth, GED education in JCPS, Ursuline Montessori School and Home of the Innocents. She has volunteered for various organizations including the PTSA, where she was named Volunteer of the Year. In her free time, Tracey likes to root for the University of Kentucky, relax on the lake and spend time with her family and pets.
