Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Leslie Brock received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Milligan College in 2006 and her Master of Science in occupational therapy from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2008. She has worked with pediatric patients in a variety of settings including outpatient therapy centers, private schools and early intervention programs such as Kentucky First Steps. She has experience implementing therapeutic intervention for multiple diagnoses including hearing loss, sensory processing disorder, autism, attention deficit disorder, developmental delays and physical disabilities.
In her spare time, Leslie volunteers for a non-profit organization, First Hugs, whose mission is to help improve the quality of life for children in the care of XuChang Social Welfare Institute located in Henan, China. She provides ongoing consultation to the directors and caregivers of the program and travels to China when available to assess and evaluate the children in First Hugs. She has extensive experience with hearing loss, as her two adopted daughters from China are deaf and wear bilateral cochlear implants. Leslie feels privileged be part of the Heuser team and looks forward to providing the highest quality therapy services to children and their families.
