Dr. James Shehorn joined the Heuser Hearing Research Center as a research audiologist in February 2018. He earned both a Doctor of Audiology and Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Arizona. His research interests include investigating the interactions between aging, cognition, hearing loss and hearing aid outcomes. As an audiologist and scientist, James is most interested in studies that are directly translatable into clinical audiologic practice, often testing older adult populations with hearing loss and hearing aids. In his spare time, James enjoys hiking and climbing with his wife, Lauren, and son, Finn.
